About Anchor Digital Technology

The value of technology
is giving every voice the chance to be understood.

We believe that leaving home to work in another country should never mean losing the ability to understand the system, speak up about problems, and protect yourself. And companies shouldn't have to wait until a problem turns into a conflict, a complaint, or an external risk before they see it for the first time.

Why we started

Everyone who comes to work in a foreign country brings hopes for a better life. But for many migrant workers, a contract they can't read, a pay slip that doesn't add up, or a moment when they don't know who to turn to can slowly turn a small, solvable problem into one that's hard to undo.

That's why we founded Anchor Digital Technology and began building HomeSEA. Through multilingual digital tools, we want to make complex information easy to understand, help problems that are hard to put into words get expressed clearly, and let companies and government spot needs earlier and offer help.

What HomeSEA wants to build isn't just another information platform. It's a connection that lets migrant workers, companies, and government truly understand one another.

Why we started

Migrant workers in Taiwan may face contracts, pay slips, and official information they can't read. When something goes wrong at work, in the dormitory, or in daily life, they often don't know whether to turn to the employer, the broker, the government, or a civil society organization.

Employers, meanwhile, have already set up complaint channels and training programs. But language gaps, scattered information, and vague descriptions can keep them from learning in time what migrant workers are actually struggling with.

  • The migrant workers crossing the hall of Taipei Main Station are someone's parents, someone's children. But when they get lost in a maze of language and paperwork, there is often no one beside them.

  • “My Chinese isn't good. I'm a little scared.”

  • That fear means that when a contract is unfair or a dispute breaks out, they have no choice but to lean on a single channel. And when no one answers, some are pushed into the black hole of going missing.

  • Under current rules, a worker who is absent for three consecutive working days and cannot be reached must be reported by the employer. Once the employment permit is revoked, a worker without legal help can be pushed toward illegal work and a second round of exploitation.

  • So that no migrant worker is forced to go missing inside the maze of the system, we built HomeSEA: a multilingual digital platform centered on understanding the system and guiding the next step.

  • Through the AI Document Assistant, multilingual explanations of the law, and real-time help guides, HomeSEA helps migrant workers quickly understand their situation at the critical moment and find a legal, workable next step.

  • For us, “SEA” carries two meanings. It stands for Southeast Asia, where our mothers came from. And it is the sea itself, the one that links Taiwan to Southeast Asia and carries countless migrant workers across.

  • “It makes me feel hopeful about life in Taiwan, because when I run into a problem, I can look it up in here.”

  • “ In the same sea, we find home. ”

HomeSEA will be the navigator on these waters: information to end fear, a platform to protect rights.
