Anchor Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the developer of HomeSEA ("we", "us", or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how we collect, process, use, and protect the personal data you provide when using the HomeSEA mobile app, the official website (anchordigital.tech), and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Policy forms part of the HomeSEA Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
Article 1. Scope
This Policy applies to the collection, processing, and use of personal data involved in your use of the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites or services linked from the Service; for their privacy practices, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
Article 2. Categories of Data We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following data:
- Account data: your email address, basic identifying information provided by third-party sign-in services (such as Apple or Google), and profile information you set yourself, such as your nickname and avatar.
- User content and media: the posts, comments, images, and voice recordings you publish through community features, as well as the text, documents, scanned images, attachments, audio recordings, and transcriptions you provide when using AI features. Audio recordings are sent only when you actively use voice input, in order to convert speech to text.
- Contacts data: when you actively pick a contact from your device, we read only the name and phone number of the contact you selected, to fill in a HomeSEA contact. When you choose to save a contact to your device, we use write permission to complete that action. If you actively enable paid cloud backup, the names, phone numbers, notes, and tags of your custom contacts are backed up to your account; avatars are not uploaded.
- Location data: when you actively use "Current location" or localized answer features, the Service obtains your location at coarse precision, converts it to a city, county, or district, and sends it with your question to the AI service so it can answer with local agencies, service points, or rules. We do not build or store a movement history.
- Usage and analytics records: how features are used, the number of AI uses, event names, the page or feature area, the time of occurrence, an anonymous identifier, a session identifier, your user identifier after sign-in, platform, language, and app version. Analytics events do not record the text of AI conversations, attachment names, or local file paths.
- Device, security, and diagnostic information: device or installation identifiers, device brand and model, platform, app version, IP address, and crash logs, stack traces, performance data, and session diagnostics. Our error monitoring has the SDK's default collection of personally identifiable information turned off.
- Real-time communication connection information: when you use voice or video help features, the network connection information needed to establish a real-time connection. Microphone, camera, and Bluetooth permissions are used only when the corresponding feature requires them.
Article 3. Purposes of Collection
We collect and use your personal data for the following purposes:
- providing, operating, and improving the features of the Service;
- verifying identity, managing accounts, and providing customer support;
- calculating and managing each plan's AI usage allowance;
- keeping the Service secure and preventing fraud and abuse;
- statistical analysis and service optimization (in principle using de-identified or aggregated data);
- providing localized information based on the location you choose, and accessing your camera, microphone, media, contacts, and notifications as you direct;
- fulfilling legal obligations or complying with lawful requests from competent authorities.
Article 4. Use of Data and Outsourced Processing
- We use your personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes set out in the preceding Article, and we do not sell your personal data to any third party.
- To provide the Service, we may engage the following types of service providers to process data:
- Cloud infrastructure, authentication, and database services: your data is stored on the cloud services and servers we use (including Supabase), which may be located in Taiwan or overseas.
- Third-party AI and speech transcription providers: the text, documents, images, audio recordings, and city or county context you provide when using AI or voice input features are sent to AI model providers (including Google Gemini) to generate replies or transcripts. We send only what is necessary to provide the Service.
- Third-party sign-in services: sign-in providers such as Apple and Google handle your sign-in authentication under their respective privacy policies.
- Error and performance monitoring services: we use Sentry to receive crash reports, errors, stack traces, and performance diagnostics in order to keep the Service stable. The default transmission of personally identifiable information is turned off.
- We do not disclose your personal data to third parties except in the following cases: with your consent; where required by law or lawfully requested by a competent authority; or where necessary to protect the vital interests of the Service or other users.
Article 5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The official website uses only the browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your light or dark theme preference. It does not use tracking cookies and does not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Article 6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as the purpose of collection continues. Document conversations, scanned data, and attachments are retained for 90 days by default; if your account supports a retention setting, data is retained for 7, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days according to that setting. Temporary voice recordings on your device are deleted once transcription is completed, cancelled, or fails. Analytics, diagnostic, and security records are retained for as long as operations and abuse prevention require. After you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify the data associated with it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or necessary to maintain security or resolve disputes.
Article 7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and server security safeguards. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a personal data incident occurs, we will notify you as required by law and take remedial measures.

We will process it in accordance with the law after completing the necessary identity verification.
Article 9. Protection of Minors
The Service is intended primarily for adult users. If you are a minor, you may use the Service only after your legal guardian has read and agreed to this Policy. If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal data without the consent of their legal guardian, we will delete it as soon as possible.
