Welcome to HomeSEA (the "Platform"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and the HomeSEA team ("we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the HomeSEA mobile app, the official website (anchordigital.tech), and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By registering an account or accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Article 1. Scope of the Service
The Platform provides multilingual navigation of Taiwan's systems and rights for migrant workers from Southeast Asia and the people who support them. The Service includes, without limitation:
- Multilingual rights information and system navigation: organized information and guidance on Taiwan's labor laws, job transfer rules, everyday rights, and more, provided in multiple languages.
- AI Document Assistant: helps you understand contracts, complaint documents, and similar materials, and turns them into steps you can follow.
- Help channel guidance: information on, and referrals to, legitimate sources of help such as government agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
- Community features: a space for users to post content, share experiences, and support one another.
- Other features and services we may introduce from time to time.
We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.
Article 2. Nature of the Information and Disclaimer (Important)
- The content provided through the Service (including AI-generated replies, document summaries, step-by-step guidance, and knowledge base information) is for general reference only and does not constitute legal advice, professional advice, or official administrative guidance.
- AI technology has its limits, and its output may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Before making any important decision (such as handling a labor dispute, signing a contract, filing a complaint, or changing employers), you should confirm with the competent authority (such as the Ministry of Labor's 1955 hotline or your local labor affairs bureau), a lawfully established NGO, a practicing lawyer, or another qualified professional.
- The help channels and organization information provided on the Platform are compiled from publicly available sources. We do not guarantee that they are current or accurate, and we are not responsible for services provided by third-party organizations.
Article 3. Account Registration and Security
- Some features of the Service require an account. You may register and sign in with an email address or a third-party account (such as Apple or Google).
- You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep it up to date whenever it changes.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and must not let others use your account. You are liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials. If you discover any unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
- You may delete your account at any time under "Account Security" in the app's settings. After deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
Article 4. AI Features and Usage Allowances
- The Platform's AI features are subject to daily or monthly usage allowances that vary by plan (such as the Free plan and Premium plans).
- We may adjust each plan's allowance, feature scope, and eligibility conditions based on operational needs. Material changes will be announced through in-app notifications or other appropriate means.
- You must not use automated programs, multiple accounts, or other improper means to circumvent usage allowance limits.
Article 5. User Content and Community Guidelines
- You retain ownership of the text, images, and other content you post on the Service ("User Content"). However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use User Content (including to reproduce it, publicly transmit it, and adjust its format) as necessary to operate, display, and promote the Service.
- You agree that your User Content will not infringe the rights of others, and you must not post content that:
- violates the law, incites crime, or endangers public order;
- defames, harasses, bullies, or discriminates against others, or constitutes hate speech;
- is pornographic, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
- is false, fraudulent, or unauthorized advertising;
- infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
- The Platform has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. We provide reporting and blocking tools. Reported content will be reviewed within a reasonable period, and we may remove content, restrict features, or terminate the accounts of users in violation without prior notice.
- You understand that each user is responsible for the User Content they post. We do not warrant the accuracy or legality of User Content.
Article 6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers and networks in any way;
- access the Service's systems or data, or other users' accounts, without authorization;
- reverse engineer or decompile the Service, or attempt to obtain its source code;
- use crawlers, bots, or other automated tools to access or extract content from the Service in bulk;
- impersonate others or provide false information;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account and reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.
Article 7. Intellectual Property
The software, interface design, trademarks, text, images, and other content used in the Service (excluding User Content and publicly available government information) are the intellectual property of us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, or otherwise infringe upon them without our prior written consent.
Article 8. Paid Services
- Some features of the Platform may be offered as paid services or subscription plans. The paid items, prices, and billing methods are as described in the app or on the official website at the time of purchase.
- For purchases made through an app store (such as the App Store or Google Play), payment and refunds are handled under that store's policies.
Article 9. Changes, Interruption, and Termination of the Service
- We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service for system maintenance, updates, or reasons of force majeure, and will give advance notice where possible.
- If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your right to use the Service without prior notice.
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
Article 10. Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your particular needs or be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence).
Article 11. Personal Data Protection
We respect your privacy. For how we collect, process, and use personal data, please see the Platform's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Article 12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted on the official website or communicated through in-app notifications or other appropriate means. For material changes, we will provide a reasonable notice period before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after a revision takes effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
Article 13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). For any dispute arising from these Terms, both parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance. Where the law provides for exclusive jurisdiction or contains mandatory consumer protection provisions, those provisions prevail.
